Porchmode text messages
Effective October 6, 2026 · Version 1.0

Porchmode (Timothy legal name, doing business as Porchmode, Orange County, California) runs two text programs. Each needs its own consent.

1. Porchmode booking texts

What they are: messages about a booking you made: confirmation, a reminder the day before, when we're on the way and arriving, links to your photos and film, care notes, clear-out and takedown scheduling, and changes to your booking.
How you join: check the booking-text box at checkout. It starts unchecked.
How often: about 6 to 8 messages per booking, plus a few for any add-on visit (Thanksgiving Transition, clear-out, takedown).

2. Porchmode text list

What it is: first access to new install weekends, openings, scheduled drops, Christmas dates, a care or review note after your install, and Entry Notes.
How you join: check the text-list box at checkout, or submit the "Get first access by text" form. It starts unchecked.
How often: up to 6 messages a month, sent only between 8am and 9pm Pacific.

3. The basics

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book without either program.
Msg & data rates may apply. Your carrier's rates apply to messages you send and receive.
Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@porchmode.com or phone.
Stop: reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) at any time. One STOP ends both programs for that number. We'll send one confirmation and nothing else. If you have an install booked, we'll call you with updates instead.
Restart: reply START to the same number to rejoin.
Every first message and every text-list message tells you how to opt out.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Messages come from Porchmode's number. Before our texting line is approved, booking texts may come from Tim's phone; the same terms apply.
For U.S. mobile numbers only.

4. Your information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We keep a record of your consent (phone number, time, IP address, browser, the exact wording you agreed to, and the page you used) for at least 4 years. See our Privacy Policy at porchmode.com/privacy.

5. Changes

We'll post changes here with a new effective date. If a change affects what you agreed to, we'll ask for your consent again.
